What was your client's inspiration for the dramatic change in the kitchen?
Our customer had a clear vision of what she wanted to accomplish and together we created a highly functional and stylish kitchen. The priority was creating a crisp but dramatic kitchen. The main goal being, increased storage and counter space that would be easy for entertaining and perfect for daily use.
Your clients kitchen went under quite the transformation. Tell us about it.
In order to increase storage and countertop space, we moved the entrance to the laundry room. This allowed them to have better access from the master bedroom. This has an added benefit of increasing the available space in the kitchen. We then also added a “key drop” space near the garage entrance.
The entire house was transformed. All baths, floors, lighting, and paint colors were all updated. The end result is a striking “new” home, perfectly designed for entertaining and cooking.
What are some of the functional storage solutions you chose?
The corner drawer storage was a must for this design, but we didn’t stop there. We added pullouts by the range, a utensil pullout, spice rack, trash pullouts, and bookcase storage. We analyzed what each cabinet would contain and selected the organizational item that would best suit her their needs.
