About the project
The Laundry Room was lacking efficient storage and was a source of frustration for the client. We moved the sink location and removed the broom closet. By moving the sink location to the other side of the washer & dryer units we were able to create a continuous countertop space which increased the function and flow of the space. New painted maple cabinets with a beadboard center panel were installed. Flooring stayed the same and was patched where needed. We wanted a clean and simplified space as well as a calming color palette. New quartz countertops and a built-in look around the washer and dryer create a harmonious look while providing functional landing spaces for clothing baskets, etc. A pull-out hamper and tall broom cabinet with storage for cleaning supplies keeps essentials within reach and organized.
